Does Homoeopathy Can Treat Covid-19?

COVID-19 or novel corona virus is a deadly pandemic in the world. More than 1 lakh people has been died due to this pandemic. Biggest problem is that there is no vaccine or medicine available for COVID-19. COVID-19 is spreading at a high speed and there are many problems has been arised due to this pandemic. Biggest question is still that is there any medicine for COVID-19 in homoeopathy?

Homoeopathy is a science which follow the nature's law for cure. Treatment in homoeopathy is based on the similarity of symptoms. So, treatment is not solely depend upon diagnosis. You just have to find out the remedy which is best suitable to your symptoms. 

But, during the time of epidemics, most of people are suffering from similar type of symptoms, with similar cause. So, the medicine given to the people are same. This medicine is known as 'Genus Epidemicus'. After studying few case in detail we can easily find out 'Genus Epidemicus' for particular epidemic.

Dr. Hahnemann has said in § 100 that "In investigating the totality of the symptoms of epidemic and sporadic diseases it is quite immaterial whether or not something similar has ever appeared in the world before under the same or any other name. The novelty or peculiarity of a disease of that kind makes no difference either in the mode of examining or of treating it, as the physician must any way regard to pure picture of every prevailing disease as if it were something new and unknown, and investigate it thoroughly for itself, if he desire to practice medicine in a real and radical manner, never substituting conjecture for actual observation, never taking for granted that the case of disease before him is already wholly or partially known, but always carefully examining it in all its phases; and this mode of procedure is all the more requisite in such cases, as a careful examination will show that every prevailing disease is in many respects a phenomenon of a unique character, differing vastly from all previous epidemics, to which certain names have been falsely applied - with the exception of those epidemics resulting from a contagious principle that always remains the same, such as smallpox, measles, etc."

Dr. Hahnemann has advised that novelty or newness of disease doesn't make any difference in mode of treatment and examination. There is no point that we don't have medicine. Homoeopathy has lots of medicine which can help to fight against corona virus. It can prevent as well as can cure COVID-19. 

Ministry of AYUSH recommended Arsenicum Album 30 to increase immunity. A study carried out in Gujarat that more than 2000 people who has taken Arsenicum album during their quarantine period, none of them are positive after 14 days. Research for this is still going on. But homoeopathy can surely treat COVID - 19, there is no doubt. Only thing we need is some research work and proper database.
